    • Cynthia Dubuque says

Skin care! I need help with skin care! Why, oh why, at the age of 34, do I still get break outs and what can I do about it? Nothing seems to work!

    • Brianna Ketchum says

I would love tl be but sadly I just don’t have the time

    • Wish I could sounds like so much fun. These days I’m having problems finding times in my day to get logged on.

I think it would be fun to see ‘guest posts’ on all sorts of topics. I’m really into crafts, diy beauty and cleaning products, upcycling, and things like that. Maybe once a week or more, have a post or two from your readers sharing our favorites or latest creations in those subjects.

    • Allyson Odell Hunter says

Not sure if I’d have the time right now, but I do enjoy seeing what others have to say when I can join in. 🙂

    • Linda Heng says

I would like to know if there are any cures/remedies for constant bloating.

      • Allyson Odell Hunter says

You know, my son and I both have the problem. I always feel full, even if I haven’t eaten and I can’t seem to get the bloating to go away when I reduce what I eat and eat healthier. Wish you luck with finding an answer!

      • Raye Wiedner says

I’ve found eating smaller meals more often seems to help, and eating more slowly. Peppermint and chamomile tea help quite a bit too. My doctor recommended I try those steps. It doesn’t completely cure it, but it does make a difference for me.

    • Carol Yemola says

I would enjoy topics on gardening! It is my passion and how I can escape from my crazy life!

      • Sharon Asbridge says

        Me too! Love flower gardening!

      • Allyson Odell Hunter says

I’d love to know how to make above ground planters that are long lasting and economical as the ground around me is hard rock and clay. Besides that, the Texas heat is awful. Plants would suffocate in my soil, but I want a garden badly!

        • Raye Wiedner says

Allyson, I don’t know if this would interest you or not, but my hubby found some 55 barrel drums for sale a while back and cut them in half for me. I think he only spent about 3 dollars each. I used those as planters. I primed and painted them and drilled holes in the bottoms, then filled half with small rocks for drainage and then added my dirt. They worked well. I made the comment to one of my kids that I was doing some pot gardens. She gasped loudly and said “MOM!! You’re growing POT???!!!!” I did a very fast explanation on growing flowers and vegetables IN pots!! lol

    • Karen Hinkle says

maybe any one has a special needs children or how to plan a party on a budget would be great

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I could really use ideas on how to reduce stress or techniques to use when I feel stressed out. Lately, my stress has been out of control.. I feel like a fire breathing dragon!

      • Raye Wiedner says

Cynthia, I’m totally with you! Some days I think we all feel like we just want to throw in the towel and run away lol.
I don’t know if you’ve ever tried meditation or not, but it truly is a life saver for me. I never believed it was worth a hoot, even after being advised to try it for years.
Not long ago, I was living in a bit of a 24 hour a day crisis mode….I turned to meditation, and cannot believe the difference it has made. I have more peace, more energy, and I’m more resilient than ever before. You could look into it and see if it’s right for you.

    • Brianna Ketchum says

Cooking recipes what’s new in styles n stuff anything really

    • Would like to find out what else you can do to stay on track and if anyone wants to help keep each other motivated.
Maybe we can have a regular daily topic to keep each other on track and what we are doing might help a lot of people.

    • Carol Yemola says

I love all the things you generously give away. Would really like to win outdoor items like furniture or ornaments.

    • Karen Hinkle says

candles kid toys every day house hold items coffee pots

    • Sharon Asbridge says

I love anything with flower gardening… Containers, plants, wind chimes, garden décor, garden tools…

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I’m looking around my house for things we need lol.. Lamps, towels, coffee table or end tables, outdoor furniture for the pool patio, stand alone outdoor umbrella, outdoor swing.. Sharon Asbridge had a nice suggestion of wind chimes.. flower bulbs. I could go on forever

    • Brianna Ketchum says

I love everything u give.kitchen stuff maybe a tablet or electronicelectronics would be cool or stuff like quilts that you had patio sets I’m up for anything honestly

    • Raye Wiedner says

I’d like to see some audio books. Hubby can’t see well enough to read much, but he enjoys listening to books. I think as busy women, we may not always find time to sit down with a good book, but we could surely listen to one while we’re driving, cooking, or just going about our daily routine.

    • I would love to see Cookbooks of any kind. I have a big family and often have extra guests stopping in to eat as well. I run out of ideas of what to make.

    • Allyson Odell Hunter says

Canopy swing for the yard would be nice. Sturdy birdbaths that can withstand heat and even hail. Texas weather is harsh, but I would love to use the yard more. Any outside items, even a grill would be nice prizes that I’m sure others would enjoy as well.

      • Allyson Odell Hunter says

A new garbage disposal could be a good prize. I know many people that have had to replace theirs. Mine has been broken for 5 years, but I cannot afford a new one. Maybe some household fix-me-uppers would be nice, like patching kits for drywall since people need to make repairs sometimes and the kits come with everything needed to fix a hole, including the stuff to re-texture the area. How about gift certificates for paint? Everyone uses that at some point and spring is the perfect time for painting. Perhaps a gazebo kit would be nice too. Just thinking out loud for possibilities. 🙂

        • Raye Wiedner says

Those are really unique ideas Allyson! I’m in the process of fixing my house up for sale, and I’d use all of that.

          • Allyson Odell Hunter says

It’s hard when you’re a single mom, so the weird, but functional items are things that I look for and can really use. I know that there must be many more like me who could benefit from practical items too. Good luck with getting your house ready for sale! I hope it sells quickly and that you get a good price for it!

Such Topics like “Disabled” and “Special Care Needs” and similar –> Would you be interested in bringing in Specialists and People who develop products for such people of our community, and ask them questions and learn what they have to say?

    • Please leave SPECIFIC areas of knowledge or certain conditions that you’d be interested in learning about.

    • Carol Yemola says

I am an oncology nurse so help for the cancer patient would be great.

    • Karen Hinkle says

yes I have a autistic grandson and I would deff love some one who has info on that subject you can never have to much information I think it would be great

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I have a 3 year old son with Autism.. Some days are, for lack of a better word, horrible.. It would be nice to have someone to talk to about that.

      • Karen Hinkle says

@ Cynthia I understand my grandson has autism every day is a new adventure but I would love to talk with you about it my but he has been in school at age 1 /12 and it would be a great topic I have had lots of success with him we just got him potty tranned

    • Brianna Ketchum says

I’m not really sure but I’m really interested in anything health issue related

    • Raye Wiedner says

I have two. One: Traumatic brain injuries and stroke. I was told that whatever healing is done in one year is all that will happen. I’m finding that difficult to accept, and I disagree. I’d like to know if cognitive and physical improvements can still be made further along, and what I can do to help hubby continue to improve and become more self reliant.
Two: My daughter has a neurological disorder called Friedreich’s Ataxia. It’s a rare, progressive disorder with no treatment and no cure. It affects her motor skills and coordination. I’m interested in products that help her function in daily life as her capabilities degrade. We’ve found a lot of products for arthritis sufferers are useful for her because they’re made for reduced hand dexterity. She recently won a recumbent bike, and that helps with leg exercise, we’re also interested in core exercises for people with balance issues. She’s in a wheelchair, so most we find don’t work.

    • I would love it. My son has epileptic seizures. And some days its hard to cope with everything else going on in our busy lives. Would love to find some natural products that would help as well.

      • Karen Hinkle says

I say we do need some of these topics addressed it would be so help full

      • Raye Wiedner says

Shelly, hubby developed a seizure disorder when he was injured. We use passion flower and skullcap that I get from a health food store, and I also give him melatonin and vitamin D. It’s seemed to reduce the occurrence and severity of his seizures. It might be something you might want to discuss with your physician.

    • Carol Yemola says

Never realized how many children are autistic. So many just within this small group.

      • CoffeeTime says

        Gals,
I just read a study that links Air Pollution to Autism. This was an eye opener, and who could have though?
I”ll publish it and will let you know!

        • Karen Hinkle says

yes now 1 -88 children have autism it is getting worse and most of them are boys but the girls do to but its more males I don’t know what it is but it is getting bad I hope a cure will be found for this and soon god bless the children and parent with autism every day is a challenge and every child is different as a grand ma who adopted my grandson it has been hard but I take every single day and I learn and I find what works for my grandson who was non verbal but we have been working on that and can I say it paying off he is now starting to talk what a blessing it takes time and lots of time

          • Raye Wiedner says

I’m seeing a lot of articles about GMO’s in our food and whether that may be contributing to the high rates of autism. The rates have increased so dramatically in modern times. I think it’s worth researching further.

          • Allyson Odell Hunter says

My ex-sister-in-law is a special ed teacher who works with many autistic children. There are so many different degrees of it and each case requires a specific plan of action to help the child. My nephew has Tourette’s Syndrome, along with Aspergers, and he is quite a challenge for my sister, although his intelligence level is very high. He has good days and bad ones. Then my daughter has MS, and the relapses can be intense. She is still recovering from one last September, but I doubt that the numbness in her hands is ever going to totally go away.

If you a great cook and can take pictures, would you be able to contribute recipes to us?

    amcoffee

    • Carol Yemola says

I might be able to help you there!

    • Karen Hinkle says

yes that would be so cool I love to cook

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I like to think I’m a great cook.. I would be willing to take pictures of what I cook but sometimes it doesn’t look too appealing lol (but almost ALWAYS tastes great)

    • Brianna Ketchum says

I don’t think I’m great but I would sure try my best to share things they may not look pretty

    • Raye Wiedner says

My issue is still the photos. My camera can’t be fixed and I’m finding the prices are prohibitive for what I’d need. We are in the process of readying our home for sale, and plan to travel and live full time in an RV. When that happens, I’ll need a smartphone for wifi access, and I’ll be able to take photos then. Where I currently live, I have no cell phone access.

      • CoffeeTime says

        Raye,
I’ll look into it and will get you a camera.

        • Karen Hinkle says

that’s so good of you to do that for Mrs Raye congrats and we can see your beautiful creations bless you coffee time that will make her day I love it

          • Raye Wiedner says

Okay, I admit, that made me cry. I’m not a woman who cries over much of anything, but that one got me. Thank you so much Laura. I can’t express what that means to me.

    • I haven’t learned how to upload pictures yet and am new to all this but I would love to try.

    • Allyson Odell Hunter says

The pictures I could take, but not sure if I’m the best cook to post recipes. Maybe I could come up with some.

    • Raye Wiedner says

I’d just like to say, for all of you who want to contribute recipes ……..I’ll volunteer to be your taste tester! 😉
