Time has flown into the history, hiding within our memories, taking refuge in our feelings, emotions and reflections. Time can be healing. It can be refreshing. It also could provide us with unfathomable situations and experiences.

What we have left is our Reflection and Interpretation of everything that has been left in this magic territory called TIME.

Let’s step into the waters that are only a few-days-old and remember what we learned and had joy with.

    • Rebecca Swenor says

Good morning all. 🙂 I would like to reflect on my organization and de-cluttering.

    • kaen hinkle says

good morning well I got to meat up with a childhood friend I have not seen in many years she was my best friend in school it was so great to connect with her and be able to have her in my life again I am so happy to have be reunited with my best friend I guess this is one thing I need to do is get my social life back

    • Good morning all.
Missed Pilates today so I have on my mind what I am going to do today to make up for it! My son has his first T Ball game today. So that is also on my mind.

    • Amanda Alvarado says

Good morning! I am here today! Missed these conversation in the morning this week! I need to reflect on and change the way I keep things organized! My house right now is a mess and I need to find a system to keep it from becoming a mess!

    • Jessica Parent says

Good morning!!Lots on my mind today…my baby brother graduates tonight (the past 18 yrs have flown by!!) and it is my 2nd youngest sons 7th birthday-He was born almost 7 weeks early at only 3 lbs 3 oz and 16″ long ….scared me so much I was not planning on having anymore (as you all know another lil guy surprised me and arrived just a few months ago)

    • Jennifer Hiles says

Good Morning ladies. I’m late! I would like to change my career path.

    • Raye Wiedner says

Good morning everyone! My morning has been hectic and crazy again, and my mood was becoming tense. I’m taking a break to come here and have a cup of coffee. Today I’m reflecting on the fact that I have electricity to plug in my coffee pot, I have running water and a washer that’s going right now. I have ceiling fans that are keeping my house cool. I have a vehicle that runs and I’m going to the outdoor theater tonight with one of my grandies to see Tarzan live on stage. I am so very very very blessed.
I’d like to change that tense/upset/chaotic moods happen, when I forget to be grateful. I’d like to remember more quickly that the bumps in life are only temporary.

    • wendi watson says

there are quite a few things i would change lol especially the night that i decided to walk away from my career and become a stay at home mom not that its a bad thing but i would love to be out and able to interact again with adults and have little bit of a social life cleaning and 4 walls get very boring i need to find the time to myself and some type of recreation to break it up

      • Elicia P says

        @Wendi
I know how you feel. I was working PRN just keep my foot in the door but crazy how I looked forward to it a lot of times (I worked in mental health up until 3 months ago, so that in itself was hectic). I went out and found a job that I can do with extreme flexibility. I look forward to getting out and socializing with other people even if it is only 2 hours a week.
Are there any moms groups in your area? Have you looked into activities for you and your little one?

        • Elicia P says

Actually, let me rephrase that. I can relate to you. I do not know how you feel as we all have different experiences.

    • wendy c g says

Good morning, just thinking how blessed I am.

    • wendy c g says

I would like to be more positive and active.

    • Katrina A. says

Hello! I need to learn how to not be so hard on myself. I need to learn that it’s not too late.

At the beginning of the week we talked about the Benefits of KISSING!

YES, it bares so many positive changes in our body, mind, emotions. WOW! We’d better start implementing it into our life more frequently.

Just a few benefits to name:
    – Takes away pain
    – Relieves us from allergies
    – Boosts Immune system!
    … plus a dozen more!

What was YOUR most memorable Benefit of KiSSING?

    benefits of kissing

    • Missed this day but just read through really quick. Hmm, I think hubby and I need to start kissing more as we both have stress (him more than me).

      • kaen hinkle says

it helps you to live longer and it is good for us LOL

        • Elicia P says

          @Karen
Mine used to be a kisser but as the years go by it doesn’t happen very much except the “peck”. Sometimes I wish I could back in time to the days when we first dated. The passion was so high!

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I would say the takes away pain is my favorite one.

    • Amanda Alvarado says

I like that it it can tone your facial muscles! Dh and I almost always kiss each other bye, hi, just because, etc! LOL Of course then dd comes in the middle and wants kisses too! 🙂

    • Jessica Parent says

That it boosts the immune system and eases pain (I always knew it was enjoyable 😉 )

    • Jennifer Hiles says

Oh, I must have missed this conversation, sounds interesting! I will have to go check it out. That’s so weird that it takes away pain and relieves allergies. I must not be kissing enough!

    • Raye Wiedner says

My favorite part is that it helps to alleviate pain.

    • wendy c g says

      Loved this chat

    • Katrina A. says

I was so surprised to learn kissing can help with allergies.

To inspire you and push you towards some Relaxation times for yourself this summer, we took a quick trip around the world into the BEACHES that are spectacular and carry their own “aroma” and aura of providing rest, entertainment and respite – something for everyone!

What would be your Dream Beach Vacation you’d like to go to? And most importantly WHY that beach and not anything else?

    beaches of the world

    • Missed this day too as I had to work and one thing led to another this day. I think I popped in to say hello!
Anyway I do not have a specific beach. I really like any beach especially those on the Gulf Coast. Did have a nice beach in Belize but that was for the snorkeling.

      • kaen hinkle says

I would have to say Hawaii I have always wanted to go and take in all the glory of the beaches and beautiful flowers it would be amazing

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I would say my dream vacation would be to go to the beaches in Hawaii. I have heard so many good things about Hawaii and it was the one place my grandparents both really loved.

    • Amanda Alvarado says

My dream vacay would be Hawaii! I’ve always wanted to go there since I was a kid! Their beaches are beautiful and there’s so much more than just the beaches to explore!

    • Jessica Parent says

I’d have to say Hawaii too!! Between the gorgeous beaches I’ve heard nothing but great things about the people that reside there my whole life.I love the beach and the one near me is too nasty to enjoy

    • Jennifer Hiles says

I loved this one. My dream vacation would be Italy. I would love to go to Rabbit Beach, Lampedusa, Italy!!

    • Raye Wiedner says

My dream vacation would be to Charlotte Amalie in the U.S. Virgin Islands. One of my dearest friends sold her belongings and pulled up roots just to be able to move there for 3 years. Her photos, videos, and stories of her life at that time charmed me. I’d love to scoop her up and take her with us to vacation there. (We’d love the area and beaches, and she’d be a great travel companion and tour guide)

      • Elicia P says

        @Raye
My sisters client lived in St Croix. I got to see what life there was like rather than the vacationers view when he flew her down (she took me with her). I loved it. It is so relaxing and not in a rush.
The only thing that I could not do is the heat. I love the warm but not the 100 degree!

    • wendy c g says

We’re going to the beach next weekend, I can’t wait.

    • Katrina A. says

I would want to go back to the Virgin Islands. I loved St John. So many beautiful beaches like Hawksnest Bay and Cinnamon Bay. So many more little beaches to explore there.

Not only we are alive and thriving by good food, healthy, chemical & pesticide free foods. We are living off our experiences with our food.

Food has that tremendous power to organize people around their lives.

And FOOD has that natural ability to raise your MOOD. What are some of those foods:
    – Oatmeal
    – Lentils
    – Seeds and Nuts
    – Dark Chocolate
    – Swiss Chard
    … And many, many More!

Go here to see them and let us know which Foods you’d like to incorporate MORE into your life.

    almonds vitamin E

    • Rebecca Swenor says

Okay I think I have to eat more oatmeal and for some reason it sounds good with lil pieces of dark chocolate. 🙂

    • kaen hinkle says

I am going to say flax seeds and lentil they are the only foods I don’t have in my diet and I want to give them a chance to

    • I really need to add the dark leafy greens. Too bad I just hate them!

    • Amanda Alvarado says

I’d like to incorporate more dark chocolate and oatmeal. I should probably add in flax seeds since I don’t eat fish.

    • Jessica Parent says

Id like to get more Oatmeal, nuts,& water in my diet.I like all 3 but do Not consume nearly enough of any of them

    • Jennifer Hiles says

Well, I know that chocolate surely makes me happy 🙂 What is Swiss Chard? Is that cheese? I had no idea about oatmeal. That is interesting.

    • Jennifer Hiles says

I need to eat more Lentils and seeds. I think I get quite a bit of the other ones. Except the Swiss Chard, cuz I’m not sure what that is.

      • Raye Wiedner says

@Jennifer, swiss chard is a leafy green vegetable. It’s loaded with so many benefits that it’s almost like a super food.

    • Raye Wiedner says

I’d like to incorporate more flax seed oil into our diets. I have to get it from the health food store here, and they don’t always carry it, so they order it when I request it.

    • wendy c g says

      I love oatmeal, and cashews.

    • Katrina A. says

I need to eat more almonds, asparagus and eggs….things I like already. I want to try to incorporate flax seed oil. I also need to learn to like lentils and oatmeal more. Blah.

Summer is a season for weddings and renewal of vows.

Don’t you remember your Big Day?

    – What was MOST MEMORABLE about it?
    – What do you remember about it that you become emotional even today?

We’ve also covered some amazingly easy and helpful tips and reminders for those who prep-up their Wedding Celebration. What do and what not to do with your Hair, Skin, Makeup.

    wedding day
    Photo: Chandra & Daniel

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I would say the thing that comes to mind is how nervous we both were. Ours hands were both so sweaty and it makes me smile to think of nervous we were even though we had been together 5 yrs before that day.

      • Isn’t it amazing how much something like your wedding day can make you so nervous. It’s not like back in the day when people just met each other before the wedding!

    • kaen hinkle says

I would have to say how handsome my hubby looked and oh all my family was with us out side my parent home under the willow tree it was a great day and I have no regrets 30 yrs in August

    • Amanda Alvarado says

Our wedding was a little bittersweet – it was the day we should have been welcoming our 2nd daughter into this world – she was stillborn a month and a half before. We had been putting off getting married – at that time to us it was just a piece of paper and financially, thanks to the government, it made more sense to not get married. After losing our dd, we decided we were going to get married and decided on the day she would have been born. It was also my grandmother’s birthday and my Aunt and Uncle’s wedding anniversary too!

      • kaen hinkle says

oh Amanda that’s sad but you are keeping the memory alive so each year you celebrate you can remember I know its hard but you are keeping her memory alive bless you

    • Jessica Parent says

I have never had a wedding :/ I get emotional at every one I attend though

    • Jennifer Hiles says

My wedding day was a blast. It was very laid back. We have a friend that has a piece of property (out in the middle of nowhere) and there was even a building with a changing room and bathroom. Get this, we spent our wedding night in a tree house! It was a nice tree house. It had a bed and heater, lol

    • Raye Wiedner says

I think my favorite memory of my wedding day was calling everyone after we got married and telling them. We’d decided to do it spur of the moment, and there were some family members that were thrilled and surprised to hear we did it, and others who were shocked and dismayed LOL. By doing it like we did, we avoided drama and kept it intimate and private with just two special people who stood up with us. It was lovely.

    • wendy c g says

My wedding was simple but filled with love and laughter. I actually messed up my vows, but it’s ok. We still laugh about it today.

    • Katrina A. says

I’m not married yet. Not sure I believe in it really but I am engaged. Maybe one day I’ll be at a point in my life I can actually imagine myself getting married.

And wasn’t it a huge discovery that SITTING can actually put our bodies into a huge disaster?

What’s really important is that if we do not do the minimal work to undo the harmful effects of sitting, even daily exercise would be Null and Void with our constant sitting practice.

It is the news that needs to be taken seriously.

Go HERE to review all the effects the Sitting does on our bodies, i.e., HEALTH.

ALSO, Reminder yourself what needs to be done to UnDo the harms coming from sitting.

What is your PLEDGE to yourself when it comes to sitting?

    sitting effect health

    • kaen hinkle says

I try to keep my sitting to a limit and I do get up very often to see what my grandson has gotten into or he will need something so he keep his grannie off her bottom LOL

    • Amanda Alvarado says

Lucky for me I am on my feet and walking at work!! LOL At home when I am on the computer, I get up at least every hour and go do something around the house – load the dishwasher, throw in a load of laundry, etc.

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I pledge to myself not to sit at the computer more than an hour at a time without getting up and moving. 🙂

    • Jessica Parent says

My pledge is too sit less (my goal is only an hour a day besides when Im nursing )

    • Jennifer Hiles says

This conversation was an eye opener. I sit way too much. But it was great to learn about and I am so glad I could attend that conversation. I am much more aware that I need to take breaks regularly and I want to try the walking meetings. I mentioned it to my supervisor at work and he thought it was a great idea. 🙂

    • wendy c g says

      To get up and moving.

    • Raye Wiedner says

My pledge is to do less sitting at the computer and more standing with it instead…..to sit on the exercise ball more, instead of a chair or the sofa…..and to get up and move more even when watching a movie.

    • Katrina A. says

I’m going to get up and walk and dance around with my son more often.
