Life is about living to the fullest, enjoying what we do and with whom we spend our time. Food is always a huge part of our living! Food unites us, gathers us around the table, makes things possible in negotiations and even forges peace.

Modern life has brought in many ways regular foods are consumed they’ve never been consumed historically. Obviously, the circumstances and history are the major reasons of why we invented many things like preservatives and additives.

Look at this Top 10 List of Foods that has a huge reaction on your body’s functioning. Many should never be consumed. Personally, I never touch frosting that comes out of the jar or squeezable cheese. What we know makes us more powerful in our decision-making. Read on what I was able to dig out for you and put it on the #AMCoffee morning plate.

What We Eat Is What We ARE and Constantly Becoming.

Good Morning Ladies. Glad to be back, missed a few days. Work and school were keeping me busy.

    • Karen Hinkle says

good morning ladies well for Easter we do the eggs the night before and then the kids and grandkides come over for the Easter egg hunt then we have dinner and just have a good time of it all

    • Hi all! We are going to have our own Easter egg hunt in the backyard! For a little twist to things, this year we’re going to let the kids hide some eggs for us to find! Also we plan on having some fun with sidewalk chalk, jump rope, and blowing bubbles! We’re going to make it a whole day to enjoy the great outdoors!

      • Karen Hinkle says

that sound fun to be able to be a kid again I like it

      • That sounds like so much fun! How old are your kids? My daughter is 17 and we DO color Easter eggs, but that’s about it. Last year I bought her some cute headbands, some makeup and a big chocolate bunny and stuffed it in a cute purse…..that was her “Easter basket” even tho she’s 17 MOM still has fun during the holidays…..everyone just benefits from it!……lol

    • thia beniash says

we live in the south and egg hunts can be very messy with candy and the heat. an alternative? we fill the eggs with money, pennies, nickels etc. then after the hunt the kids can buy stuff at the “bunny store”. things there are great items that would never fit in an egg anyway and they are priced just right at a penny, five cents and so on. the kids are 7 and 11 now and still love the bunny store from mommy. they told me they will never outgrow it!

      Good monday morning everyone

    • Rebecca Swenor says

We usually go to my parents house. My brother and dad cook a big ham dinner. The night before Easter we all get the kids together and color Easter eggs. I always loved coloring the eggs it shows how creative the kids are too. 🙂

    • Stacy Giacosa-Bauer says

      Good Morning Ladies!

    • Good Morning, We will be having a big dinner at moms and then a big Easter Egg Hunt after dinner. Mom hides all the eggs and everyone that comes hunts eggs. Its so funny watching my husband that’s 57 hunting eggs. He will not give up until he finds all the eggs.

    • Stacy Giacosa-Bauer says

We go to my mother-in-laws for dinner and we all bring something homemade! I usually bring a cherry or apple pie! Then we hide eggs for the kids and watch them do the Easter egg hunt! We have a lot of fun! 1 creative way is to put $5.00 gift cards in the eggs when we hide them to promote reading!

    • Hello Ladies I have missed all of you last week lol

    • Jessica Parent says

Good morning! We host an annual Easter egg hunt, craft and dinner at our house for my 3(of my 4) siblings, parents, and 10 nieces and nephews. The craft helps keep the kids busy while we hide the eggs all over our yard. This year we will be only doing an egg hunt ,a small craft and snacks as my little one is due Any time and the big Shabang is going to be too much for me this year (whether he’s brand spanking new or I’m still waiting for him to arrive. I’m still on strict bedrest for the next 2 weeks 😉

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

Good morning everyone! We’re all about tradition for Easter in my family. When the kids wake up, we head downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny left for them and get dressed for church. We usually head to 9:30am Mass, then to my Grandmom’s after that for brunch and egg hunts. The little kids, ages 3 and under, do a small egg hunt in the front yard and then there’s a big egg hunt, for all of the kids, in the back yard. We head home around 2pm and start preparing dinner for a few family members to come join us in eating.

    • Good morning

    • Always a big dinner Easter egg hunt and I love making baskets it’s my favorite part

    • After church we go to my in laws house and have lunch with friend and family then the kids hunt for eggs

    • Morning

    • Good Morning!

      Good Morning!!! 🙂

      • Virginia Rogers says

Nothing big planned for Easter just excited to be spending with family and will be having dinner together <3

    • This year we are letting the kids planting jelly beans. On Easter morning lollipops will have magically sprung up. We’re using organic sugar free. We will do baskets, egg hunt, have dinner and talk about the meaning of Easter.

    • Jessica Parent says

I’m so frustrated-went out and overpaid for a coffee they messed up on me (not worth paying the gas to return it) 🙁 Yucky -they Triple sugared my “only cream” coffee ….lol. Guess I’ll be making some tea 😉

      • CoffeeTime says

I would save the cup and the receipt! And take it the next day!

        • Jessica Parent says

Lol- they don’t give me receipts, but lately they’ve screwed about half of them up (getting kind of sick of it and may have to start asking for receipts)-lucky for me they know me so next time I’m up there and tell them they messed up they should put the next one on the “house”….but it doesn’t give me the coffee fix I need now 😮 hahaha

Breakfast is the most powerful thing you could do to jump start your day. What you eat at Breakfast will determine your blood sugar spikes and allow you to define your day ahead.

I’ve made this smoothie this morning – Green Tea Power – recipe taken from Diets In Review and a beautiful photo, as well as the recipe itself, is by Dana Shultz for Diets In Review. My photo this morning was way too dark, as there was no natural light yet available!

    INGREDIENTS

    1 banana
    ½ avocado
    handful spinach
½ cup vanilla coconut milk beverage
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (you can skip it, if you don’t have any on hand)
1 Tbsp. green tea (matcha) powder (use green tea powder out of the green tea bag!)
8-10 ice cubes (use as you desire, I put much less)
Place all ingredients into the blender and mix.
Enjoy this ultimate sensation that would wake up your feelings, your emotions, your creativity!

I only wish I liked all those healthy things in those smoothies. I have started drinking a breakfast shake and it really does make a difference. I am not one that can eat in the morning. my stomach hates me.

      • Karen Hinkle says

I would love to have some good tasting breakfast drinks I am afraid to by the ones already made but I would like great tasting and healthy ones I can make and I just started the last month to start eating something for breakfast due to our wenday weight page so it has helped

      • CoffeeTime says

Smoothies are a good alternative to those who have different conditions and preferences. Nutrients will get to their destination in your body and that counts a TON!

        • Karen Hinkle says

do any of you have some great recipe to share

          • CoffeeTime says

Have a ton! I need to start publishing them. I also have a wonderful source and collaboration with the woman who is an amazing recipe-maker! We need to begin new beginnings here!

    • What a refreshing smoothie recipe! I would love to try this, avocado and banana are some of our favorite ingredients!

    • Wendi Watson says

the problem with eating healthy is that it is so much more expensive! I do love my veggies but i do not even own a blender! t make the fabulous concoctions

    • lauramroque says

Going to have to try after baby number 2 in June to get back In shape

    • this looks and sounds so yummy will have to try it out

    • I love making smoothies with a yogart base and fresh fruit. I have a a lot a fruit that grows in the summer. I freeze everything I can and use durning the winter. So, the cost is lower and No Preservatives.

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I really should get a blender and start making smoothies. I need to start searching for a good blender.

    • Jessica Parent says

I have cereal a few times a day but would love to start getting into the whole smoothie thing at least a few times a week (I found recently at the grocery store I can sneak veges in ,like spinach, and the kids will not only drink it but Loved it as well-thanks to good ol sample stations) 😉 I personally Love avocado but wouldn’t normally put it in a smoothie-Im gonna have to try this one

      • CoffeeTime says

Some cereals are great like from Kashi or Post. They’re filled with fiber and very little sugar.
It’s the “kid” kind that are literally filled with sugar.
And what is more shameful is that they are offered to our children!
I personally do not buy those EVER!

        • Karen Hinkle says

me either I buy post grape nut flakes grew up on them

        • Jessica Parent says

I wish I could say I never buy them but I do sometimes (but its more raisin bran, mini wheats ,corn chex, reg cheerios and honey bunches of oats) I get the kids their frosted flakes and fruit loops on occasion but 3/4 of the cereal is “good for you” cereal. I use cereal as a means to control my weight so its important they are ones full of good stuff and not sugar (I use Chocolate chex to fix my chocolate itch without ice cream and candy bars 😉 ) I personally usually prefer the “plainer” cereals I grew up on and am hoping as my kids age they will too since that is mostly what they get

    • Yum thanks for the recipe

    • Rebecca Swenor says

This sounds good. I am going to have to try it. Thanks for the recipe.

    • I like all the stuff but I dont know about mixing them all together

    • I like all these things independant of each other, but don’t think I could mix spinach and banana!

    • Virginia Rogers says

looks really good another smoothie recipe i get to try yay, been on a dental soft diet for 3 years now always looking for new things and healthy is great as am not very mobile due to other conditions, thank you 🙂

    • Mandi Gilliam says

That looks soooo yummy!!! I would love to try this out! I don’t eat like I am supposed to in the morning and my body and brain feel it for the rest of the day 🙁

The link between Eating Well and Mental Health has been the focal point of many researchers for a long time.
    What are the major points?

“Should the Hippocratic maxim “Let food be thy medicine” apply to mental health care? Absolutely, says Dr. Bonnie Kaplan, a professor at the University of Calgary and a pioneer in a resurgent field of research on the role diet and nutrition play in the health of the brain. She says the medical and psychiatric community is rediscovering the many connections between food and mental illness after more than a half century of depending primarily on prescription drugs for relief.”

    • Epidemiological studies, for instance, have linked a Mediterranean diet of mostly vegetables, fruits, nuts, and plenty of olive oil with better brain function.
    • In a 2011 analysis of more than 5,000 Norwegians, researchers found lower rates of depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder among those who consumed a traditional diet of meat and vegetables than among people who followed a modern diet heavy with processed and fast foods—or even a health-food diet of tofu and salads.
    • Traditional diets—the kinds of foods your grandmother would have recognized—have been associated with a lower risk of mental health issues

    • I’m trying to eat more of the vegetables, fruits, nuts, and plenty of olive oil, we are cooking more at home and utilizing our crock pot, this makes it easier to meal plan and include more veggies into our diets! We also switched out butter for olive oil for cooking.

    • Karen Hinkle says

I can say I believe that we have stopped eating processed for only once in a while but for the most part I have almost cut it out of our food grandson who has autism we have seen a big improvement in him I have been making all his food my self now and I cant believe the improvement more verbal now so it makes a big diffrence

    • Wendi Watson says

i do use olive oil quite a bit but i have to have my butter for certain things or else the taste is just not there!

    • lauramroque says

I need to find ways to implement more healthy foods into my families diet. My two year old will eat anything it’s me andmy husband who are picky

      • Karen Hinkle says

@Lauramroque I have a autistic grandson who is real picky I have a trick to get him to try different foods we put the food on the table and try to pick it up with our mouth we all do this its a fun game for him and it works

        • thia beniash says

have you tried making shapes out of the fruits? there are cutters specifically for it. I know my kids love when their fruits are cut up “special” just for them. they say they taste better. lol.

    • I would love to eat healthier but I can’t stand like 90% of veggies and I can’t eat that much fruit because I am diabetic

      • CoffeeTime says

        Carmen,
        The key is the Veggies!
Try to add them into main dish as a side. Then use smoothies, as they blend so well. There are Low Glycemic berries that would work just fine for you. Veggies “scrub” your guts, add live bacteria to good flora and have so many phytonutrients!
Yes, you know all that. Now, make 1 small step today to eat a veggie of any kind.
What do yo like more? Start with that!

FYI: KIDS are watching you what you do and get the Eating Habits from their Mom and Exercising habits from their DAD (study was published on the habits of lifestyle and it was one of the major discoveries how kids “catch” we, parents, do)

    • thia beniash says

I have started using the “fake” butters with less fat. I gotta say they taste great. I also only use olive oil for cooking and the taste is better and I feel that it is healthier.

    • Stacy Giacosa-Bauer says

I have already started my vegetable garden of tomatoes, bellpeppers and radishes. I make my family a healthy dinner every day with lots of fruits and vegetables!

    • We only eat out maybe twice a month. And then when we eat at home. We eat thing things that I have frozen and preservated. So , I think I am going good. But I will say, I do have a brownie once a day. I shouldn’t have amitted that.

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

We always have a vegetable or 2 with every meal.. I think a well-balanced diet is very important for my family.

    • We’ve been eating more veggies and fruits. Trying to stay away from processed foods and fast foods.

    • Stacy Giacosa-Bauer says

I use to use Pam cooking spray years ago and started using olive oil instead whether it be in skillet meals or just making cookies and it is very healthy for you! I also make a balsamic vinaigrette and it is delicious!

    • Rebecca Swenor says

That is very interesting. My son has been reading about all of this too. I am glad that my kids both like fruits and veggies. We have always snack on them and nuts also since they were little.

    • I’m trying to change my diet to include much more fruits and veggies, limited red meats and more chicken. I need to drop about twenty pounds…..it’s so darn hard!

      • CoffeeTime says

        LAURIE,
        My heart goes ‘YEI!’
One Small step to make Big changes.
Stick ton one small change, then move on to the next one!

    • Jessica Parent says

So its all the processed foods in my diet that makes me a mental case? 😉 Only half kidding-been working on cutting processed food out of my family’s diet for the past 2 yrs .We are slowly but surely getting better, with weekly trips to the farmers market and a rule that we have to at least “try ” a new fruit or vege every other week to expand our taste buds (and aim for the 5 a day goal) I had no idea diet could play such a role in mental disorders like depression and anxiety

    • Very interesting. .I love my fruits, vegetables, and nuts.i also use olive oil a lot. .but I find it a lil hard to stay away from some processed food. I do know it matters and will affect you. Several years ago I everything we ate was processed and I felt like poo all the time. When I cut back on the processed food and started to eat better I noticed I felt much better.

    • Virginia Rogers says

I can totally see the relation between mental health and diet, if you are unhealthy or struggling with weight can see where could cause many mental health issues as well. Great info!! TY 🙂

    • Mandi Gilliam says

I definitely need to add this in to my diet!! Out with the old processed food and in with the NEW! Thank you so much for sharing 🙂

  6. thia beniash says

previous generations lived healthier, that is for sure. I try to purchase fruits and vegetables from local growers to avoid the over handling, commercial pesticides, and the wax they use in transit.

Some practical points that I am using personally in my life are so well summarized in Life Hacker!

    – Kale is one of those powerful superfoods that you might even like if you pair it with bacon or sausage.
Okay, everything’s better with bacon. Moderate amounts of cheese can also transform a dish.
    – One study recently showed that topping a burger with an avocado can decrease the inflammatory effects of the red meat.
    – Combining broccoli with mustard might not only make the vegetable taste better, it could boost its nutritional value.
    – Spreading out veggies in a dish of pasta or grains can make the taste of them less offensive. Also, instead of going with the typical tomato sauce, try a pesto or other healthy sauce.
    – As mentioned when we talked about eating healthy even if you hate cooking, a smoothie can not only be quick but also nutritionally complete. You might not even taste the spinach when combined with fruits and other ingredients >>>> Look up that Yummy Green Tea Smoothie recipe in our #AMCOFFEE #1

    – SOLVE THE PROBLEM of some bland foods by spicing them up!Yes to buying better-quality foods (the fresher the better, which is why we like farmer’s markets and CSAs). Here are some suggestions of What can go on Top of your bland foods besides salt and pepper
    • chili sauce, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, salsa, teriyaki sauce, peanut butter, garlic, and a ton of more! Be creative!

    • thia beniash says

ok so I have read through all the food options…im so picky I don’t care for most of them. I would like to hear suggestions for an alternative sauce for pasta. I like pesto and white sauces but white sauces can be very high in fat so I am not sure they are actually better than tomato sauce.

      • Karen Hinkle says

well I am a blane kinda girl I don’t even put butter on my veggies steam them and eat them I love them that way and all greens are good we grow mustard greens green beans swiss chard brossel sprots my fav and many more just love any veg

    • I recently discovered my dds love mild salsa, we have it for snacks and also in their own tacos! I would love to cook more with peanut butter and sun-dried tomatoes, those are some we don’t use that often in cooking. We also like sesame oil and rice wine, to give more depth of flavor.

    • Wendi Watson says

we are definitely creative cookers in this house we for sure try al types of different recipes and flavors!

    • lauramroque says

Have to try kale I also here a lot of people maked baked kale chips. Does it retain its nutritional value when you do?

    • I wish there was a way to have healthy food taste like the food that I love spinach that taste like pizza would be amazing lol or kale that taste like chocolate cake lol

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I’ve heard that when you make smoothies with fruits and vegetables, the fruits are a stronger taste so they take over and you don’t really taste the vegetables. Is that true?

      • CoffeeTime says

        Cynthia,
        It is true!
I pack my smoothies with vegatables of all kinds. I experiment a lot to achieve different tastes and textures!

TIP: If veggies are with more flavor, put 1/2 of them vs the berries/fruit ratio

    • Thank you for all the great ideas

    • I am in love lemon pepper and seasoning salt. And I use a lot.

    • I try sneak in veggies where ever I can for the kids.

    • Jessica Parent says

My problem is staying moderate with the cheese-LOL > Its almost like theres a mouse in the house 😀 I love me my cheese (my body does not however-lol) I LOVE avocado on my burgers, matter of fact its the ONLY way I like a burger (and on grilled chicken).I’ve never tried Pesto or mustard in my broccoli (but I love broccoli straight up), may have to try it sometime (One of my boys hates broccoli but loves mustard so who knows-perhaps he will like it too.) My little guy will eat almost ANYTHING with peanut butter-his brothers think hes weird but its the only way to get veges and half of his meats in him (he even has it with his scrambled eggs…which makes them all yell “ewwwww!!” but he eats it and its healthier than a lot of alternatives 😉 ) I finally got my 13 yr old to recently “like” rice and black beans by throwing a few spoonfuls of salsa on it (which normally he wouldn’t eat any of it including the salsa-but was willing to try “a bite” and fell in love) Thanks for more ideas to try and turn the kids into better eaters and with any luck my hubby too (hes worse than the kids in his unwillingness to try things he “thinks” he doesn’t like 😉

      • CoffeeTime says

        JESSICA,
the problem is NOT with HARD cheeses –> they are a fabulous source of calcium.
It is those Processed Canned cheeses that are JUNK!

Choose from low-fat cheeses if you are a frequent consumer. Cheeses are Great! They can “spice up” your salads, soups, veggies – anything you want!

        • Jessica Parent says

Lol -good to know I Highly dislike Processed cheese, especially that canned crazy cheese crap (even the “slices” my children love are not for me…very seldom I eat them) Im an Extra sharp cheddar girl 😀 Have a hard time being moderate with it though and can easily eat 4 oz in a sitting (which Im working on cutting down) My problem is I like too much “flavor” ….too much

    • Stacy Giacosa-Bauer says

I love using fresh lemons and limes in my recipes and they are so good for your kidneys! I use sea salt now since I have to keep my husband’s sodium levels down and it is so much better for you!

    • I’m going to try kale, and I’ve been wanting to try more exotic types of foods, those not from our country…..get a wider range of choices so I don’t get bored.

      • CoffeeTime says

        LAURIE,
Kale is the gold standard for fiber and phytonutrients!
I buy a huge bag from Costco and use it in my cooking: sauteeing, smoothies, salads.

The next thing will be trying out Kale chips!

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I have never tried avocados before but my kids love it on sandwiches. Thanks for the tips above. I am going to have to try a couple of these foods I have never tried before. 🙂 Green olives on a pizza is delicious too. Had to through that in there also.

    • Virginia Rogers says

What a great idea, we do the teriyaki with veggies all the time and even got my girls to start eating more of them that way!! 🙂

    • The first I cooked with kale was for a zupa toscana recipe. .bacon, sausage, kale, potatoes ( I used cauliflower)..

    • Mandi Gilliam says

I love all my food pretty bland. I must admit though, that getting to a healthier life through what I put in my mouth is hard. I was raised on junk food! But I want to do better!!! I just don’t know where to start 🙁

We are the ultimate Choice-Makers and Takers in life. We are what we eat is a true statement and testament to either many life-threatening diseases or vibrant living.

Look at these Top 10 Foods that made the list of Not Desirable Consumption by Jenna Birch.

    – Frosting from a can (packed with transfats)
    – Bagels (they have a huge Glycemic Index that leads to high insulin surges that promote high bodily inflammation. Yes, you gotta join our Weight Loss Wednesdays where we speak about all that with doctors and specialists in this area) Skin problems are often associated with constant inflammation of the body. You may reconsider bagel consumption frequency.
    – Processed Pre-packaged Foods (pre-packaged mini muffins, doughnuts, and dessert cakes will add tons of calories and loads of unwanted sugar to your diet, plus they aren’t easy to digest. Plus, lots of Preservatives!)
    – Soda (caloric and with a ton of sugar or sugar substitutes)
    – High-sugar cereal (huge amount of sugar triggers high inflammation which is a precursor to many diseases, including cancers, obesity)
    – Stick Margerine (lots of trans fats! Stick margarine is found in plenty of pastries, crackers, snack foods, and even microwave popcorn, so limit intake to keep cholesterol levels in check)
    – Jarred tomato sause (packed with sugar! Make your own instead, which is soo easy! Buy tomato paste or use fresh tomatoes)
    – Bacon (high in fat, sodium, and the preservative sodium nitrate)
    – Maraschino Cherries (artificial colors, like red-40 and red-3 dyes)
    – Soy Sauce (has some good vitamins and minerals like riboflavin and vitamin B-6, but the extremely high sodium content will leave you bloated and at risk for conditions like hypertension >>> Go for Low Sodium Soy Sauce!)

We all can indulge into these foods, just know the facts and make those on-the-spot decisions or while planning for home meals or parties What Such Foods Can Bring to Our Bodies.

    • thia beniash says

what no bagels??? I thought that was a good morning choice. figures, I love bagels. I can tell you right now I will never give up my maraschino cherries on top of my sundaes…it’s worth the risk.lol.

    • Wendi Watson says

wow! now there is so me info i was COMPLETLY unaware of! WOW! i do hate margarine though i am a butter eater!

    • lauramroque says

Wow I was kind of suprised to see bagels made the list. Ive always thought they were a healthy alternative to toast or a muffin

    • I was not surprised that bagels made the list because they are loaded with carbs

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I don’t use many of those listed. The ones I do use, like bacon, we limit our intake of. I rarely add additional salt to foods and drink choices for our children are limited to milk, water or watered down 100% juice.

Lucky for me my only weakness on this list is the high sugar cereals (but I do limit them and mostly eat high fiber and lower sugar ones….except my bi-weekly box of Chocolate Chex-Im hooked, lol) and Bacon (which I’m lucky if I get to have it twice a year (you can thank its expensiveness for that -not my will power. My hubby is a maraschino cherry addict though and loves/eats a lot of what is on the list (except soy sauce and soda and the latter only because I wont buy it often) fairly regularly. Looks like we will have to change a few things on my grocery list. I have been making my own frosting for the most part these past few birthdays because we like it better (whip cream-homemade when possible mixed with a box of pudding -which is also probably not very healthy)

    • Sometimes use just have to use some of the things mentioned above. But, I drink water all day, lots and lots water.

    • I love bacon, but we try to limit it. We don’t drink sodas, or eat margarine. Mostly we don’t consume any of those items.

    • Making a mental note of this list. I have high inflamation, arthritis and other issues that I’m going to see if cutting out these inflamatory foods might help

I love a lot of bad thinks like soy sauce and stick butter. I usually put soy sauce on my burgers when cooking them but then I don’t put salt on. I have been trying to do better with butter too. I get low sodium low fat butters or margarine.

    • We do use several of these in our house..mainly the cereal, tomato sauce, and bacon. I am going to try my hand at making and canning my own spaghetti sauce. I have been canning my own salsa for a few years now.

See I eat everything on that list ^^^^^^^ 🙁

    Good Morning all 🙂

  10. Wow, we do need to cut back on a lot of these! Today I was just going to buy bagels, too! Oops! I try to find the bacon without nitrates and we also eat this moderately. It’s hard to find low-sodium soy sauce but we get it when we can! Most of the time we make our own baked goods, we love baking banana muffins and oatmeal chocolate cookies.

not sure if you know this… you can ripen bananas and have them on hand if you purchase yellow bananas and then put them in the freezer. this will ripen them over night. they can be stored in the freezer for up to a month or so.

Good morning, all! We are big believers in cooking with extra virgin olive oil in our home but I agree with some others here. Gotta have butter for some things!

Once in a while, I have a bagel and eat some of things mentioned above, but overall I eat healthy most of the time! Also, I work out 3 days a week and take walks after dinner each night!

Wow am guilty of several of those especially living alone not being able to stand long, go for quick and easy, will have to look for better things, thank you 🙂

      VIRGINIA,
It’s explicable why we do quick fixes when in the kitchen.
Tip: try to add one small step to your diet at a time, like extra fresh or frozen veggies.
I got to love steamed veggies with some garlic and a bit of butter. It tastes delish and I am not depriving myself of anything, including the taste!
