Last night driving from the store, I noticed a gorgeous new moon up in the clear skies. My mind quickly reflected on its beauty and on how quickly the time passed since the beginning of last month. That imminent reflection that brought up to the surface some emotions from the past was a very enriching experience. The rest of the evening, as I was working away through my projects, I would stop and reflect: on my life, on the people I met throughout my life’s journey, and where I am in the now.

These reflection moments are a necessary part of our lives. They are therapeutic and healing. They can be the key to our moving-forward process as well.

This morning, I’ve got my doze of Seth Godin’s message that was so much aligned with my state of mind and soul.

Scroll down and see the ways of Getting Rich in a Quick and very Powerful Way. Actually, many ways. I took some points from Seth Godin that truly resonate with me. And I do hope they will do the same with you, too.

Enrich your health by walking twenty minutes a day.

Do you do any walking or vigorous exercise? You don’t have to be a heavy weight lifter. What you need to do for your vibrant health and soul is exercise your Walking Power!

Are you committed to a brisk walking daily?

    • Karen Hinkle says

ok Laura with a active 6 year old I say he keeps me going all day long and I have a gazelle that I walk on every chance I get I love to take walk so can I say when I go to the store I do my marathon walk there in and out lol

    • Amanda Alvarado says

I don’t know that I would call my walking brisk but I do ALOT of walking at work!

    • wendy c g says

Yes, we ride our bikes daily together as a family. It’s nice to enjoy the fresh air, birds singing.

    • Rebecca Swenor says

When I am really depressed because of being sore or whatever, a walk helps me a lot. I just listen to the birds etc as I am walking and when I get home I have a smile because I think life is beautiful. 🙂

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I’m disabled and unable to take long walks or walk quickly or run or jog 🙁 Any type of exercise brings me severe pain.

    • haha it’s on my top priority of things to do…w hen the weather improves! seriously it’s EXACTLY the thing I keep telling myself is the next step to better health but with this awful weather and me and baby sick together (which makes it impossible to actually get better…) it’s not yet happening!!

    • I used to and it felt great. .it was my alone time and I loved it. Lately I have not and I can tell a difference in the way I feel

One more way to Get Rich Quick —> Enrich your community by contributing to someone, without keeping score.

What was your last contribution that made you feel good and powerful that you could help someone who may have lost hope for any help?

What would be a way to discover “community needs” and take action?

    • Karen Hinkle says

with my grandson it has been a long time to go out side of my home to help out my community but I guess I can say I keep a watch out for suspious activity if I could I would love to help but at this time its hard

    • Amanda Alvarado says

I deal with HS kids on a daily basis and a lot of them come from broken homes and don’t get a lot of attention. Just listening to them and talking to them (paying attention to them!) helps more than they realize until later in life!

    • wendy c g says

We have a neighborhood watch, we also watch out for each other. Helping each other, we have little events for kids on holidays.

    • Rebecca Swenor says

My mom always says if you are going to do something for someone don’t have expectations.

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

This morning I put a donation on our front porch for the United War Veterans Council. I donate to them as well as the Lupus fund, monthly. I like to think that my donations help people to know that there are people out there that care and not to give up, no matter what.

    • There’s a local organization that is close to my heart as they have helped family members personally. While I really wanted to make a donation, I can’t afford to (I do tithe but all that goes to families I personally know that are in need). So instead I volunteered my skills – they do weekly events for teens, so I did a jewelry making class with them for free, plus I’ve done graphic design work. In general, volunteering skills is a great way to pitch in fo anyone…

    • I am givin a lot of clothes for my 3 girls from church members so I try to find some who is in need and pass them on

A definite way to Get Rich Quick is by “Enriching your relationships by saying what needs to be said.”

Not a 1,000 hours of counseling would make a difference, if communication tender isn’t there.

What do you do to make your precious relationships grow and develop into a powerful house of Love, Support, and Growth?

    • Amanda Alvarado says

I talk to my family and really listen to what they have to say. Of course worshiping with them brings us closer too! Without the Lord, we are nothing and it is by His grace that I have the relationships I have…few that they are! 🙂

    • Karen Hinkle says

I have been married to my hubby this August 30 years and I must say he is such a good man to me we are friends lovers and partners in life and yes I say talking is so important we do a lot of that every morning and in the evening we have hard some hard times but we managed to get threw it but it takes a lot of work to keep a marriage going but I will say it is well worth it

    • wendy c g says

After school I always talk to my kids about their day, what they did. We talk about the day over dinner when dad is home from work. We encourage talking things out when something is wrong. We try to set examples for our kids. We are a very loving family, lots of hugs and I love yous.

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I would have to say that listening is a big one for me or just doing something nice for someone without wanting something in return. 🙂

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

My fiance and I have frequent conversations about how we’re feeling and what’s on our minds.. Our children are still young, ages 2 and 4, so we’ve started them off early by teaching them how to communicate properly. We’re trying to teach them how to be good listeners and be non-judgemental of other peoples feelings.

    • forgiveness! forgotten anniversaries, items left around to be cleaned up… they don’t mean no harm!

    • Listen to each other . Dont let thing get to us..dont stay made about little things, let it go. After 15 years my husband still brings me little thing just to say I was thinking of you

This is a Quick Way of Getting Rich >>>>> Enrich your standing by trusting someone else.

Lots of letting-me-down feelings and situations during life. Yet, if we withdrew our trust from any relationshiops, the world would turn into an unkind place, vicious and crude, injuring the very most precious riches we possess – Our SOUL.

    – What do you do to overcome the places of darkness where there’s no trust?
    – How do you nurture yourself back to TRUSTING others? And Yourself?

    • Amanda Alvarado says

And this is why I have only a few close relationships! Trust is hard for me but when I do give my trust, it’s my heart and soul! This is one area I have to work on but when you see what I do everyday, it’s hard!

      • Karen Hinkle says

I give the benefit of the doubt in trust I want to believe I can trust a person but man when you break it it is real hard to give that person the trust back I will give a second chance to a person but after that I will not have trust for that person yes it is hard but I would want that same chance to

      • yes this is a tough one!! lol

    • wendy c g says

Lots of prayer, putting it in God’s hands. I try to put myself in that persons place, give them a second chance.

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I always try to see the good in people and put myself in their shoes. I start off by trusting people, with caution. Fool me once, shame on you.. fool me twice, shame on me.. Break my trust and it’s possible to get it back, but it’s possible if you can do things that will little by little help me to regain my faith in you. Everyone makes mistakes.

    • Rebecca Swenor says

Wow that is strong. I always try to give the benefit of doubt to others if I feel they have wronged me or others. Trust is very big for me.

    • I dont trust a lot of ppl. I had one very close friend for 21 year and she passed away last October. .I trust my mom with everything. I do try to look for the good in ppl but don’t always trust them

This is a very Powerful way to GET RICH QUICK –> “Enrich your skills by learning something new, something scary.”

    – What have you done recently to be in a higher place where you KNOW?
    – What would you recommend to find time for that sort of thing?
    – Where do you go to get rich quickly in that area?

    • Amanda Alvarado says

I’m stumped on this one! I have no ideas!

    • Karen Hinkle says

ok this may sound crazy but we got a new mower we had a old rider so we got a zero turn mower I have never used one of these mowers and I mowerd for a golf course for 6 yr all kinds of mowers except the zero turns so I got on it and this thing was so crazy I thought it was out of hand It was to fast and I could not hold it straight I got off it and said I don’t like it get rid of it I was scared of it but the short version I went back on it and I am a master at it now yahh so try and don not give up it will all work out but I will never go on a rollercoster again either I hate them and I did try one lol

    • wendy c g says

I just started riding a bike again after 20 years. I’m trying to get healthier. It was scary for me at first. Now I love it, the wind in my face. It feels good to get out in nature, fresh air, birds singing, enjoying time with my kids.

      • wow, kudos! we were in a minor accident where I was NOT the driver and it was clearly the other person’s fault. I’m having a hard time with driving now as I realize as careful and safe a drive as I am, there will always be another stupid driver out there… I need to suck it up and get back into it, like you wendy!

    • just listen to those around you – you’d be fascinated by how much they know and how much you can learn from them!! it takes no time, and there’s no limit to the new things you’ll learn and the inspiration you’ll gain…

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

I think I need to start trying new things because I can’t even think of the last time I tried something new.. Well… Does parenting count as something new? Trying to teach my kids EVERYTHING is definitely new and scary to me. What if I’m not good at being a mom? What if I forever foul up their lives?

    • Rebecca Swenor says

Only thing I can think of is learning how to use the computer more. Joining sweeps and giveaways is sometimes very confusing. There is so may blogs etc. out there I have never know about. I enjoy it because you meet so many people on line and you find out you are not a lone. 🙂

    • This is a hard one..I like to be learn new things but it takes my forever to absorb the info. I love photography and I try to read what I can but I am a hands on person. And if I don’t use it for awhile I forget it

  10. CoffeeTime says

To Get Rich Quick, Seth Godin suggests to “Enrich your peace of mind by being trusted.”

What does it mean to you? How would you reflect on this deep thought and make it your own understanding, more importantly, activate it in your own living?

    • Amanda Alvarado says

To me it means to be the kind of person that one can tell their hopes, dreams and fears to and the person doesn’t have to worry about everyone else finding out about them; to be there for a person when they need someone to talk to; not backing out of plans for no reason or flimsy reasons. I feel I am already doing this with the close friendships I have.

    • wendy c g says

To our family, your integrity is everything. If you say you will do something, stand behind it. Trust is a big thing in our family. We always speak the truth, if you can’t do something just be truthful about it. Don’t make up stories to get out of things. It always catches up to you, then no one will trust you. We teach our kids, by example to be truthful and honest. It’s important in life, family, relationships and your job to be honest.

    • be honest in all your dealings – with your business, friends, family, the government… you’ll never have the worries of your lies being caught. Think about the white lie a child tells his mom and then is afraid every day he’ll get caught and be punished not only for the original crime but for the lie as well…

    • Cynthia Dubuque says

If people can trust me, that means I’m doing something right.. I just try to be open, honest and a good person. I just try to do what I think is best in all situations and hope everything works out. If you have to lie, you’re doing something you shouldn’t be doing.

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I feel great when people trust me because than I think maybe it will change how they feel about other. If they can trust me than maybe they will return the favor and be trustworthy to other. I really don’t know how to put it in words but maybe someone will get what I am trying to say. 🙂

    • I would say I want my kids to trust me with any questions or feeling they may have. I want them to trust that I will not judge them and I will love them no matter what
