    Got that tired and dehydrated skin? Need more ME time in your life? You gotta take a shower and apply one of your own-made BODY SCRUBS with Himalayan Salt! It’s not difficult. Unless you’d rather go to a spa where they will take care of you and your funds, too, – Smile!

    For a home-made body scrub with Himalayan Salt can be enjoyed and benefited from!

    You can make the scrub from the ingredients in your kitchen!

    – a scoop of Himalayan Salt
    – a scoop of brown sugar
    – a scoop of coconut oil which is of soft consistency
    – and a 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil – if you do it at night, use lavender for a calming effect. In the morning, use citrus flavors like lemon, lemongrass, grapefruit to lift your energy level.

    Mix all ingredients well and head over to the shower! Use this scrub all over your body carefully and enjoy the effects afterwards.

    Himalayan Salt And MANICURES & PEDICURES

    Himalayan salt can be easily incorporated into your ME time when you are doing your own manicures and pedicures. I do it for myself and never in my life has done professional manicure. Actually, my family and friends come to me to do theirs!

    I did have my gel pedicure done by my friend who is an esthetician for several times, but I do all my nails and toes myself.

    Here are examples how you can incorporate Himalayan Salt into your Manicure and Pedicure rituals.

    1. Create a rubbing solution that has Himalayan Salt in it.
    Use salt, coconut or jojoba softened oil, essential oil – you will need everything in minute quantities!
    Rub the solution into and around the nail/toe cuticles.
    You want to create a warming, detoxifying effect from this rub. But do not rub too hard! You can damage the skin!
    Wash off with warm water and continue with your manicure/pedicure procedures.

    2. Invest into small stones which can be warmed and held by you during your reading time or meditation or even when you go to your manicure/pedicure place.
    Hold on to these salty stones and roll them in your hands. They serve as an excellent tool for reflexology with detoxifying effect as well. Remember those 84 essential minerals with rebalancing capabilities in the Himalayan Salt! Use them creatively in your daily life.

    3. Soak baths with Himalayan Salt
    Dilute a small amount of salt in the warm water and soak your hands and feet before the manicure or pedicure.
    If you have a dome of light that can be bent over that soaking bath – use it! The light allows the hands and feet to soak up the nutrients of the Himalayan salt.

      I don’t know how well it works (although I do sleep like a baby once asleep!) but we have one in our bedroom that is on 24/7. Our daughter has one in her room too that is also on 24/7 – although right now it is doing no good being on since she has moved into our bed for the summer! LOL
