The nurturing beginning is in all of us. We want our children to grow in a place without wars and climate cataclysms. We dream of high blue skies and life paths by our kids walking strongly on. If these are some of the things you wish upon your children, then you do care what air they breath in, what water they swim in, and what they put into contact with their skin.

Pollution and overuse, better known as abuse, of our environment play in a huge role in what World our kids and their kids will live in.

Today, we’d like to stop by a Coral Reef and its one of the most important inhabitants – Parrotfish. Without a Parrotfish, corals will die. This unique citizen of the coral reefs cleans all pollutants from the coral allowing it to thrive. Overfishing has brought their numbers to a dangerous minimum.

Let’s be aware of it, spread the word, share the importance of protecting our habitat, Mother Earth and Father Ocean, for our children and future generations to come!

Thank you, DelSol, for sponsoring this conversation today! DelSol is the company who honors the see inhabitants by making their products eco-friendly.

DO YOU THINK CATS AND DOGS FEEL AFFECTION?

You bet they DO! Read this article about how animals express themselves through their behavior!

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT OF YOUR PETS?

    • wow, I did not know all that! I did not grow up with any pets – until I left the house, then my sister and brother got two parakeets…

    • I firmly believe they feel affection – not just for each other but for us humans… My most memorable moment for me was when I was grieving the loss of a loved one and was crying… my cats all surrounded me and purred.. they snuggled me and kissed my tears away.. they slept by my side and on top of me until I felt better..

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I believe they do. All three of my dogs seem to know when I come home after a surgery. They come running but don’t jump on me or anything they just make sure I am ok sniffing me up and down. The only time they are all good is if I don’t feel good they don’t leave my side and always check on me. When one of them don’t feel good they do the same for each other. People say animals don[‘t understand but I really believe they do.

    • Jessica Parent says

I know they do!! My dog was so sad after my cat died-she would go to the bed they shared whimper and whine….she never let our new cat sleep in the bed she used to share -but kisses the top of her head everytime she3 sees her-it is so cute

    • wendy c g says

DOGS ALWAYS PLAY A DEDICATED FRIEND AND RESCUERS FOR PEOPLE

This puppy saved toddler from low temperatures by shielding him with his body, while the rescuers were looking for a baby.

    • We have our very first dog together since we were married 2 years ago. She’s now a year and a half and the best dog ever… she’s extremely loyal, loving and protective. She’s training to become my service dog. She loves kids and a week ago when we were out and about.. she met a little girl and played with her.. then when her dad was rough-housing with his daughter, our dog got protective of her! It’s amazing how gentle they can be!

    • Rebecca Swenor says

Both cats and dogs or most animal for that matter will protected their young or part of their clan. Animal instinct.

    • Jessica Parent says

Animals are so very smart !!! I think it is natural for them to try and protect their loved one

ARE THERE ANY CAUSES NEAR-&-DEAR TO YOUR HEART THAT ARE AIMED AT PROTECTION OF ANIMALS, HABITATS, NATURE, CLIMATE? WHAT ARE THEY THAT YOU DO CARE ABOUT AND PAY ATTENTION TO?

    • I’m a big support of spay and neuter programs. I like that our town has free vouchers for those with low income

      • CoffeeTime says

        ANGEL,
That is SUPERB that your town officials do it! Kudos to them!

        • Rebecca Swenor says

I agree with neutering and spaying because their is to many unwanted animals that end up dying without even living.

      • Jessica Parent says

We have them too Angel but a lot of them have recently been underfunded/shut down or are still not afforadable to people who need them 🙁 I too am very supportive of these programs-so many unwanted animals are put down Every day in this country

    • Rebecca Swenor says

I don’t like using bug sprays or killers that are dangerous to animals. I look for nature ways to get rid of the problem. I live in a trailer and always have problems with ants coming in for the winter. I was told by an awesome friend to try dish soap because their bodies dissolve in it. My ants (knock on wood are gone). My sister also told me to use lavender oil so I use lavender dish soap.

    • wendy c g says

We try to use safe alternatives for pest control, so not to hurt animals. Also we teach our kids the importance of leaving nature alone, not having wild animals as pets, not disturbing their habitats. I support spaying and neutering and adopting from your local animal shelter. Owing a pet is a lifetime commitment.
