Skin is the largest organ of our body. Do you take care of your skin the way you are taking care of some things you do without any reminders?
I’ve heard that we didn’t have to worry about our skin and taking care of it till our 40’s or 50’s. Yes, that was a notion when I was growing up. This is so misleading!
Our skin needs to be cared for every day of our living and breathing on this planet.
Some areas need more attention, like your skin under and around your eyes. Some areas need different attention like skin of the bottom of your feet. Unanimously, skin all over your body calls for attention!
Today, let’s have a mini tour of some great facial masks that would bring life, revitalizing effect to your skin. Face is the first thing you notice and see in every person. Let’s make it to have a lasting effect of beauty of healthy, radiant skin!

Good afternoon (slept through my morning with the little one 🙂 My chin/mouth area has been breaking out like crazy lately
I really need to take better care of my skin and it has been a long time since I gave myself a facial mask. An oatmeal honey one usually works best with my skin.

CUCUMBER FACIAL MASK
– Cucumber is an outstanding source of mineral SILICA! It makes our skin strong and elastic. Obviously, our skin looks younger and tight.
– Cucumber mask is a beautiful solution to your facial treatment when your face has been overexposed to the sun. Silica helps to retain moisture in your skin. Here we go.
– Cucumbers help to reduce dark circles under your eyes and eliminate puffiness.
Mash 1 whole cucumber, strain water, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and mix well. Put in a container, keep refrigerated. Apply on your face and leave for 10 minutes. Wash with cold water and enjoy the smoothness of your skin.

cucumber facial for oily skin – looks good! or maybe I should at least try slices on my eyes. My baby woke up every 2 hours last night and it definitely shows.

I use a olive oil a lot too Wendy
I think I will give the cucumber facial a try..I have done oatmeal and honey
I think I will try the one for oily skin. I can’t stand smell of yogurt and when I was younger I used rub lemons on my face for the tightening.
oh I have heard of this with cucummers I will give it a try sounds refreshing
Cukes feel good on my eyes 😀 Will have to get some mint to try the oily skin one (I think that’s the prob with my chin 😉 )
My grandmother would always rub cucumber over her face after she peeled them. Huh, never knew this thank you.
Thin slices of cucumber do wonders for your eyes! I used to do it all the time when I got home from work and my eyes were red and tired from staring at a computer all day. Time for me to start again I think.
There’s NO Complaining that you do not have time! Time is NOW. Just Do It, like someone we all know says!
– Having blueberries or strawberries this #AMCoffee? Rub the meat of the berries onto your face! Leave for 10 minutes.
– Making a salad? Slice cucumber and put on your eyelids for a few minutes.
– Slicing a lemon? Dab some of the juice on your age spots.
– Making tea? After the teabag cools squeeze and pat around your eyes.
– Rub the interior of avocado skin on your face and leave it on for 10 minutes
Going try this yo, always have berries and avocado in the kitchen. Thanks I never knew this.
I know about the tea bags I’ve always heard that.
Will be trying the avacado. .I do lemon juice, its a pore minimizer. But be worned it does sting/burn/itch
usually when things sting they feel like they’re doing more!! 🙂
Sometimes that can be true Menu but sometimes you can have an allergy to it too. 🙂
Im not allergic. .its just the acid in the lemons I think
It probably is I haven’t used the lemons for years.
Yes Wendy. .I just deal with it
I ment Menu
I bet that would work for age spots on arms and hands too. Thanks for the tips.

It is probably best to use greek yogurt

Wendy,
Of course Greek Yogurts are OK! Any plain yogurt would do!
Awesome, I have Greek yogurt.

The only ingredient that must be present is your INTENTION TO DO SO!
Thanks so much. I loved this chat, one of the best ones yet.
I think I will try this on my kids knees, they are so rough and dry.
Just bookmarked this so I can try these this week. Thanks again, have a great day everyone.
I need to try some of these masks. My skin is looking winter drab and I need to start working on healing and restoring it.
Don’t take care of your skin til your 40’s?!?! Who handed out that horrible advice, and thank goodness it’s not being passed around now. I’m in my 30’s and have acne AND wrinkles. I’d be lost.
I have very sensitive skin so I am very particular with whatever I use on it. Some of these facial masks look really great– I will have to talk to my dermatologist about them.
I love a good facial mask. I love it even more when I can make my own using stuff from my kitchen! Thanks for these recipes!
I try to keep a simple beauty regiment but find as I get older that my skin needs a little more TLC. I’ll have to give one of these facial masks a try.
I haven’t used facial mask for a long time. I guess it’s time to give these facial masks a try.
Love all these natural face masks. My skin needs some pampering!
So awesome! I need to start to really taking better care of my skin.
I need to give these facial masks a try. Thanks for these tips!
I love pampering myself at home when I have the time. Lately I’m into clay masks (from powder form and then you add water so they become a paste).
The Clarisonic is my favorite skincare product! The condition of your skin tells that overall condition of your health.
I love to use a good facial mask. Keeps my skin bright and moisturized.
I have a sensitive skin & I had to do a lot to take care of them during both summer & winter. The yogurt mask is something I would prefer during any season as it has given good results right away. Would look in to the other ideas as well.
