There are several nutrients lacking in our daily diets which are frequently overlooked due to their… easy accessibility! But not enough of one of them could lead to the state of discomfort and even development of serious medical conditions called chronic diseases like obesity as an example.

Tapping into the foods that have been created for our bodies to consume and benefit is the most precious gift from Nature. Each calorie from such food consumed goes to a good cause within your body. Why not step into the world of real wonders and start enjoying a vibrant – literally – life style beginning today?

FIBER
Yes, our precious fiber! Both Soluble and Insoluble play an important role.

Why We Need It
Soluble fiber found in beans, lentils, fruit, oats can reduce risk of stroke, Type 2 Diabetes, protect arteries.
Insoluble fiber found in vegetables, legumes, brown rice and many other foods is great for digestive functioning of your body.

IRON
Iron obtained from fish, poultry, and meat is absorbed 2-3 times more readily than from plant sources.
In addition, obsorbtion levels depend on the Food Combinations you have while eating iron-rich foods.

Why We Need It
Iron is crucial in bringing more oxygen to all of your organs and cells. And it is the essential Protein Building Block for all of our systems.
Lack of iron could lead to memory loss, muscle loss, anemia, and difficulties regulating body temperature.

VITAMIN D
It is the ONLY vitamin we can consume through foods and make ourselves! Our bodies manufacture Vitamin D in the form of a hormone when we process sunlight. Being exposed to sunlight is essential to get your Vitamin D supplies!

Why We Need It
Vitamin D regulates cell growth, protects our bones and cardiovascular system.
We can find it in tuna, orange juice

CALCIUM
So many people have calcium via supplements. Obviously, the best source is food sources.

Why We Need It
Calcium is an important nutrient that helps maintain healthy bones, assists in nerve transmission, and helps our blood clot.
Not enough of Calcium can lead to an increased risk of osteoporosis and bone fractures.

PHYTONUTRIENTS
A very critical piece of information is that only in phytonutrients found in plant sources of our food chain can truly feed and supply our bodies with an all-rounded formula of nutrients we need for healthy functioning.

Why We Need Them
We don’t need to know how it happens, even why it happens. When we consume unprocessed fruit and vegetables in their VARIETY, millions of phytonutrient chemicals in all of them work together in synergy. That synergy creates nutrition that is immediately and bio-available to all of our cells in our body. That is a truly real magic.

    • Karen Hinkle says

I get all this its in our garden every year we live off our land and we put it away for winter

      • CoffeeTime says

        Karen,
Your living reminds me of my grandmothers’, both of them.
All summer long we used to grow and gather fruit, berries, vegetables galore and make different preserves.
Oh, my, how I miss them! I never made a single preserve in my life, though I’ve lived off them, and my grandmas and mom and sis made them.
I guess I am a “black sheep” who chose a different way of getting them!

      • Sounds liked my dream place

    • Rebecca Swenor says

Before I get completely over whelmed I rub my two hands together and lift them up. Than I say I hand over to you. In the end it always works out. I learned this from my Grandmother who was 100% Italian. 🙂 Hope it work out for you daughter Susan. 🙂
