Today’s AM Coffee is Sponsored by
Purequosa
Purequsa stands “pure origin” and is based on colloidal silver that has the antibacterial qualities. I am a huge fan of colloidal silver for years now. When I have a cold or just the beginning of it, I fetch my bottle of silver and take a few drops with my drinking water. The body is being helped by the silver particles that weigh tight to the pathogens and eliminate them out of the system.
Purequosa has created a solution for the skin to feel alive and vibrant and healthy during and after each physically-intense activity. Or during hot summer days. Purequosa solutions are available in spray bottles and can be used for skin refreshing baths so to say. Just spray on your face, body, under arms, and even in your sports bags or equipment to eliminate odor and microbes.
Here’s an example from the company’s recommended uses

LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
LAVENDER is one of those oils that has a very versatile use. From on-skin applications to freshening your bedding, clothes, to cooking some of the delightful meals, to having a satisfying tea.
Lavender is associated with a calming effect. That is why it is used for burns, scratches, itching.
It can be used for calming baths and before you go to bed. Just rub 1-2 drops between your palms and inhale. You can rub 1-2 drops onto the bottom of your feet, too. Relaxing sleep will be your savior. And we do know what SLEEP benefits we gain when we have a good night’s sleep!

I love lavender and I always used it for my little ones in their baths and I have a diffuser that i put lavender in a lot because of my anxiety!! It does work
Lavender is one of my best-loved and used essential oils. I am a huge fan of lavender in general.
I have dried lavender flowers in tea form. I have lavender water for my linens. I have different bottles of lavender essential oil. I put drops of this essential oil everywhere it is appropriate!
And yes, of course, I have a mister with lavender oil bubbling in it!
Love lavender oil. Just started really using it a few months ago. I feel like we have missed out on a lot not starting sooner with essential oils.
Better late than never. You’ll find out so many uses for this amazing oil!
Celebrate your discovery!
I’ve always wanted to try growing my own but I think we get too hot here for it to survive!
FRANKINCENSE ESSENTIAL OIL
This essential oil is mostly used for inflammation. Known for its antibacterial properties, it has a powerful effect when used on acne, warts and pigmentation spots. The anti-inflammation properties could be applied to cuts and burns as well.
In some circles, Frankincense is being called the “king of oils,” earning this reputation for being a great enhancer of other essential oils it is mixed with.
Like Lavender, Frankincense oil can be used for relaxation.
Other uses include using it for depression, widening spiritual awareness, immunity.
i have never heard of this wow interesting learn some thing new every day
I have this in my box of oils I’m going to put it in my diffuser as soon as I’m done reading this! i did not know what it was so did not use THANKS SO MUCH!!
Wendi,
This coffee is great to do some inventory of your HOME stuff!! he he
I mix this oil with others, like peppermint. IT goes nicely with.
I have been learning about each oil more and more. No wonder they are called essential.
I’ve heard of this oil (one of the 3 the Wise Men gave to the baby Jesus!) but didn’t know it had anti-inflammation properties. The ones I’ve seen have been expensive too!

Wendi,
You can make those recipes yourself!
I made a lot of them!
All are great, and I like that they are Gluten Free, which means it is much easier on our systems.
Done
Done!
TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL
First and foremost, this essential oil is used for its anti-bacterial properties. That is why we all should have a bottle with this oil’s solution in our kitchen, bathroom, busy child’s playroom. It is awesome to clean surfaces and toys!
In skin, this oil is used to help heal wounds and regulate sebum in acne prone skin. Tea Tree oil is used for fungal infections like athlete’s foot. Just dab in oil and apply to the infected area.
In aromatherapy, tea tree mists could ease our physical and emotional stress.
This one is a great antiseptic and antibacterial. I need to put a bit on my cat’s paw, it got swollen for some reason. Will go and do it after the coffee.
Our dog got into something and kept licking his paw until it got raw and infected. If I knew about this I would have used this oil on it.
Lisa,
It’s a good tip to remember for the future.
Great information I must get some new oils I have a diffuser I’ve been using it works pretty great but somethings I put in it gives me a migraine
Karen,
You need to know your scents!
I can only bare certain ones. Usually, citrus goes fine with me. But I’ve tested a lot and know what I can and cannot bare.
Laura you’re right there are some that I can’t bear that are too strong for me that give me a migraine
This is the oil I use the most! When I have a acne flair up, I reach for it. When dd has a cut or scratch, I reach for it! It’s great on bug bites too for taking away the itch!
GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL
In skin, GERANIUM could be used to sooth exzema and dermatitis. It acts as a good moisturizer.
Some types of geranium are an excellent in aromatherapy mists. I tried several kinds, picked my favorites. The smell could vary from the type of a geranium plant the essential oil is made.
Say What? I NEVER EVER KNEW THIS!!! WOW
Wendi,
I made some of the best lotion formulas with Geranium essential oils. I would mix them with other oils to get just the right aroma accent.
I have geraniums how could I make oils out of them do you have a recipe that is interesting
Karen,
To distill oil out of the plant is quite a process!
It is NOT worth your time!
Just invest in a good quality ready-to-go product!
20 years ago I suffered from a bad bit of hand dermatitis. It hasn’t been as bad since. But knowing about this now is good.
Now this is one I’ve never heard of or remember seeing!
CHAMOMILE ESSENTIAL OIL
For skin, Chamomile has been used for centuries. It has a calming effect in sensitive skin and rosacea.
In food, it is used in teas and recipes. It is nice to use a chamomile tea for a good night’s sleep.
For aromatherapy, it is known to be used in dealing with shock and grief.
yep yep this was one of the first big things brought out for help with sleeping
Sounds like something I need sometimes I have problems sleeping
I am going to have to look at this one for help with us to sleep.
I’ve never used the oil but I do use a chamomile tea to help me sleep occasionally!
LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL
This one is one of my favorites!
Do keep in mind, though, that there are over 50 different species of this plant! That means the smell may vary from one species to another.
This essential oil is used for skin and aromatherapy.
It has stimulating and purifying properties. Using it in a mister would be a great addition to lift your moods.
I also have some lemongrass tea, and it is stupendously delicious! Really good and amazingly smelling.
I love Lemongrass this is one of my favorites to put in my diffuser for the dY
Agreed, Wendi!
I LOVE LEMONGRASS!
Oh man I’m really behind on this one I’ve never tried the lemon grass
Karen,
If you like lemon and citrusy scents, you may very much like this one!
Laura I’m willing to give it a try
I’ve never used it but it’s on my list of one day to try! I’d also love to grow my own to use in tea but not sure which is the best species for flavor.
YLANG YLANG ESSENTIAL OIL
This essential oil is widely used in skin care to improve elasticity and Ayurvedic medicine to stimulate the heart chakra.
I used to make my own skin care lotions and cream, and I used ylang ylang to mix with other essential oils to get just the right aroma for the product. You need just a little of it to achieve desirable results.
People apply ylang ylang oil to the skin to promote relaxation, kill bacteria, lower high blood pressure, and increase sexual desire.
It is also part of a combination spray used to kill head lice.
THIS ONE could be strong for some people. It needs to be used carefully not to upset the olfactory mechanism!
Oh man I’m really behind on this one I’ve never tried the lemon grass
I have heard of the wonderful properties of this one. In skincare.
I’ve used this in the past and it is very strong! I did not know that it can help kill lice!
LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL
The citrus smells are all energy-driven. They enliven and restore our strength to move along with the day.
The lemon essential oil is great to increase focus and concentration. That is why placing a mister in the office where we work would do a small trick and raise a level of our awareness.
I’ve learned a lot today
Karen,
Great you can use it in your life!
Have a great time UP, UP there where you are heading!
Oh it’ll be fun to kids three dogs and me and my husband in a small small house I may not have hair when I get back I will try to keep in chat with you all have a great day
This would be good for when writing.
I love how energizing lemon is! plus it’s great for naturally removing stains when cleaning!
So true, Amanda!
I love using essential oils in my laundry a lot!
I also place a few drops of lavender, lemongrass or other at hand into the drying cycle.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
It is an excellent essential oil to clear sinuses and aid breathing. During colds and flu season, place a mister in several places like bathrooms, bedrooms to allow the oil to penetrate the air.
Having antibacterial properties, it helps to clarify the air as well.
It is never used for Internal purposes!
I use a lot of eucalyptus in my diffuser I love but it don’t give you that deep deep smell but just a nice calming smell
Oh. I wonder if this one would be good for allergies too?
I use this one on our chests when we are sick to help breathe along with peppermint!
Amanda,
My favorite use of this one is thru the mister. I LOVE the smell!
PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL
This is one of the widely used oils ever!
It can increase alertness, clarify and stimulate mind.
Peppermint oil is also one of just a handful of oils that can be taken internally, which is fortunate because it’s a great recipe to help indigestion — just mix a few drops in water and drink.
I do use the peppermint to so I see I need to get some different ones that I don’t have to benefit me
Try one at a time!
I love the peppermint. Smell, taste and all.
Another favorite! I’ve never tried using it for digestion though. May have to have hubby try it when he has heartburn. I know peppermint candies usually help but never tried the oil!
